Position Summary
The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Manager is responsible creating and deploying state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms for search. You will work closely with the Ryan Specialty AI leadership team to define and execute the vision and strategy for AI modeling training and evaluation, as well as the cutting-edge machine learning algorithms development. You will also collaborate with the AI platform team, federated product teams, and other stakeholders to provide the modeling, framework, and prompt engineering support for the federated product teams to accelerate the AI feature development across the board.
What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead staff members through service delivery transformation and develop AI support models.
• Manage the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing, to model development and deployment, to evaluation and monitoring.
• Derive metrics to demonstrate and measure delivery improvement and fiscal responsibility.
• Direct the overall deployment and activities of their staff and facilitate the resolution of situations brought to their attention that impact the cost, schedule or technical parameters of projects and key efforts.
• Manages all deliverables and obligations related to AI application operation; application maintenance and support; and application release management for assigned application portfolio.
• Lead the development of road maps for key applications to ensure application resiliency and provide added business value.
• Evaluation of root cause technical solutions proposed by the supplier; striving for elimination of technical debt.
• Mentor and coach your team members on best practices, code quality, design patterns, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Work Experience and Education:
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, MS preferred.
• 6+ Experience building and scaling machine learning models in business applications using large amounts of data.
• 3+ Experience leading an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) centric team and driving metrics-based experience improvements preferred.
• Experience using Programming Language such as Python, Java, C++ or SQL a plus.

The target salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands.
