SALARY:

$21.85 - $25.00 per hour DOE. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

The Preclinical Curriculum Coordinator provides administrative, logistical, and operational coordination for the preclinical curriculum. Working with the Dean and Directors of Preclinical Education, the Coordinator supports Course Directors, Course Administrative Assistants, and academic leadership by developing, coordinating, and improving the systems, processes, technologies, and resources that ensure effective course delivery and continuous curriculum improvement.


  • Coordinate administrative, logistical, and operational processes that support delivery of the preclinical curriculum.
  • Support Course Directors and Course Administrative Assistants by developing and maintaining standardized processes, resources, documentation, and training.
  • Coordinate curriculum systems and technologies, including the learning management system, assessments, evaluations, attendance, academic calendars, and other shared resources.
  • Support curriculum planning, implementation, accreditation, reporting, and continuous quality improvement through data collection and documentation.
  • Assist with identifying, tracking, and coordinating support for students who may be academically at risk.
  • Improve departmental workflows, operational processes, and educational technologies.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for departmental initiatives, committees, projects, and strategic priorities.
  • Promote a culture that respects, values and promotes inclusive excellence.
  • Serve on committees and project groups as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty and students as appropriate.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and spoken) and work cooperatively in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality especially of legally protected data (student grades, etc).
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 Suite as well as video conferencing (e.g. Teams and Zoom).

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, and to recognize and solve problems innovatively.

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution, a professional certificates or equivalent work experience.

  • BA or BS degree in related field from an accredited institution.
  • Advanced level of computer skills, specifically Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Professional background or experience in education.
  • Previous experience successfully creating and/or modifying processes.
  • One (1) year of program and/or project management/coordinator.
  • Experience and ability to interact with leadership, faculty, students and administrators.
