Learning & Development Administrator

Full-Time | 6-Month Contract | Calgary, AB | Hybrid (4 Days In Office / 1 Day Remote)

About the Role

Black Diamond Group is looking for a Learning & Development Administrator to support our Learning & Development team during a period of significant content development and learning system activity.

This role will primarily support ERP sustainment, onboarding, operational training, and leadership development initiatives by maintaining learning content, supporting our Learning Management System (LMS), and converting business documentation into learner-friendly resources.

A significant portion of this role involves leveraging Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools to support content development, documentation management, and administrative activities. The successful candidate will be expected to use AI tools effectively while ensuring all outputs are reviewed, validated, and aligned with business requirements.

This is an administrative and content support role. It is not responsible for learning strategy, facilitation, program design, stakeholder management, or project leadership.

 

What You'll Do

  • Convert SOPs, process documentation, ERP materials, and operational procedures into learning guides, job aids, and learner resources.
  • Support ERP learning content updates and maintenance.
  • Build and update content within Articulate Rise.
  • Support LMS administration, learner enrollments, and training assignments.
  • Maintain learning content, training records, and documentation.
  • Coordinate SME feedback and update learning materials.
  • Support onboarding and operational training initiatives.
  • Assist with learner communications, scheduling, and training administration activities.
  • Maintain content libraries, document repositories, and version control practices.
  • Use Microsoft Copilot to support content development, documentation management, and administrative tasks.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience using Microsoft Copilot, including creating effective prompts, evaluating outputs, and validating AI-generated content against source documentation.
  • 0-3 years of experience in administration, training administration, learning administration, HR administration, documentation management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with SOPs, process documentation, ERP documentation, or business documentation.
  • Strong written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience supporting training programs, onboarding activities, or learning operations.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with Articulate Rise.
  • Technical writing or documentation experience.
  • Experience supporting ERP or system implementation projects.
