The Role

We're looking for a Learning Experience Designer who is passionate about creating impactful, engaging learning solutions that drive real business results. In this role, you'll design and deliver learning experiences that help employees build skills, improve performance, and achieve both current and future business goals.

You'll partner closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and L&D teams to create innovative learning solutions across multiple formats-from instructor-led training to digital learning experiences.

What You'll Do

Design & Develop Learning Solutions

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities
  • Design and build training programs, including:
    • Instructor-led (in-person and virtual)
    • eLearning courses
    • Job aids and performance support tools
  • Apply adult learning principles and modern design practices
  • Recommend improvements and enhancements to existing content

Consult with the Business

  • Partner with business leaders, school leads, and SMEs to understand goals and challenges
  • Translate business needs into effective learning solutions
  • Participate in team meetings, huddles, and town halls to stay connected to business priorities
  • Use data and learner feedback to identify opportunities for improvement

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work with trainers and facilitators to evaluate and improve learning solutions
  • Support measurement and effectiveness tracking of learning programs
  • Provide recommendations based on evaluation results

Drive Innovation

  • Stay current on L&D trends, tools, and best practices
  • Explore and recommend new learning technologies and design approaches
  • Select the right delivery method to maximize impact and engagement

Measure Impact

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of learning programs
  • Connect learning outcomes to business performance
  • Continuously refine solutions to improve results
Physical Actions
  • Work may be performed in-office or remotely (approved locations)
  • Primarily a seated role with extended computer use
  • Occasional movement within the workplace and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)

This position operates in an open office working environment which will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in instructional design, education, or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
  • Three years experience in instructional design or educational content development.
  • Experience in designing scalable learning solutions (classroom, virtual and/or online).
  • Experience with visual design, storyboarding, course-building and editing.
  • Experience in Storyline, Captivate, HTML5, Adobe Creative Cloud, and/or Video Editing preferred.
