Global Professional Services Talent Development is seeking an experienced learning development professional to assist our team in designing, developing, implementing and facilitating learning experiences and programs for a variety of practice areas that enable our employees to grow, develop, and contribute to company growth.

This role is responsible for ensuring the successful design and delivery of learning experiences for Global Professional Services, and supporting initiatives related to talent development and thought leadership content. A trusted advisor to the business, the Learning Experience Designer draws on deep program design/facilitation skills and solid business acumen to develop innovative learning and development experiences that produce measurable impact and support the talent pipeline of a fast-paced, high-growth company.

Communication and organizational skills are core to this role. Success in this role will involve partnering closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to define learning objectives and create impactful learning experiences..

Responsibilities:

Learning Design & Development

  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand and address their development needs, and ensure alignment on strategy and content

  • Conduct needs assessments to determine training requirements and learning objectives

  • Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and performance support tools

  • Use instructional design methodologies and techniques to create engaging and effective training

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content

  • Identify with stakeholders the expected impact and measurement process

  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and sustainment of content and experiences

  • Develop and maintain learning assets, curriculum, and various talent development best practices that align with organizational goals and values

  • Mentor and coach colleagues and emerging designers and work closely with the creative team

  • Manages multi-stakeholder projects as needed, including managing priorities, and delivering results

  • Staying current with new developments in instructional design, technology, and industry trends and practically applying those learnings into deliverables

Program Delivery & Facilitation Support

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person learning sessions, bringing content to life and creating an engaging participant experience

  • Lead program setup including room configuration, technology, and materials

  • Manage operational flow during sessions (timekeeping, transitions, troubleshooting)

  • Support live sessions by managing attendance, breakout rooms, materials, and participant needs

  • Manage agenda and run sheet timing and accuracy

Stakeholder & Participant Experience

  • Serve as primary liaison for participants and stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle

  • Ensure a consistent, professional, and high-quality learning experience

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks

  • Communicate program updates, changes, and key information to stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Gather and synthesize feedback to inform continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2 years of progressive Learning/OD/Leadership experience within large organizations

  • 5 years experience designing development programs and courses in multiple modalities, including high-touch face-to-face and live online using a variety of technologies

  • 3 years experience facilitating virtually and in person to varying levels of audiences

  • Deep knowledge of leadership and organization development, change theories, learning models and best practices, instructional design strategies, and learning assessment - and a natural curiosity for leveraging leading-edge practices

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-output, and occasionally ambiguous environment

  • Strong executive presence and ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience in organization leadership development and coaching

  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

  • Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal communication, including presentation and interpersonal skills
