Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

Are you passionate about developing others? If so, this is an opportunity for you to join the HR Corporate Learning and Development team. We are looking for a Consultant or a Senior Consultant (job level will be determined based on the experience of the selected candidates) to join our Learning & Development team. This is a temporary 12-month contract/secondment opportunity. This position will require regular travel to other offices.

In this role, you will provide an exemplary learning experience that will focus on full program service delivery from initial consult and facilitation through to post session support including Contact Learning system and process administration.

We are looking for a candidate that can combine positive and enthusiastic attitude, strong attention to detail and an outstanding work ethic to contribute to our team.This is a fitting role for a passionate Learning and Development professional, with an HR educational background.

What you'll do here:

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops.

  • Execute tasks related to the full cycle of facilitation including Workday Learning administration.

  • Consult with learner, business units and HR partners to complete needs assessment and gap analysis to provide relevant learning solutions and auxiliary post-session support.

  • Create a safe and effective learning environment through actions before, during and after training.

  • Continually upgrade skills and knowledge to support current learning needs and align with organizational priorities.

  • Review and integrate feedback from learning data to maintain and enhance quality of learning experience.

  • Update Workday Learning (program creation and management such as updates, closing unused courses, attendance, workshop change requests, etc.).

  • Ensure learners have timely access to learning materials (prerequisites, post work, course journals, etc.).

  • Provide comprehensive technical support and consulting for Workday Learning.

  • Collaborate with National team to implement learning priorities to accomplish L&D objectives.

  • Act as an ambassador for the Learning and Development Team while promoting Intact as a Canadian Top Employer.

What you bring to the table:

  • Education background in Adult Education, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

  • 3 to 5 years of leadership consulting, coaching or equivalent experience in corporate environment.

  • Experience in learning needs analysis to support leadership facilitation and business strategy

  • Ability to challenge the status quo to facilitate a best-in-class learning experience.

  • Commits to a continuous learning mindset that is energetic, innovative, and versatile.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple individual and team deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with changing priorities.

  • Discretely upholds confidentiality and manages sensitive situations with tact and urgency.

  • Technical aptitude in the Microsoft Office Suite and Workday is preferred.

  • Flexibility to adjust working hours and travel regularly on short notice.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
