The role will also shape broader professional development offerings that support career growth, operational excellence, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the firm's learning and development strategy for Global Business Services professionals and Paralegals, aligning initiatives with firm and business priorities.
  • Design and build BCLP's management and leadership development curriculum from the ground up, creating structured learning pathways for new, experienced, and senior managers.
  • Partner with Global Business Services leaders to identify management capability gaps and develop learning solutions that strengthen leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and team performance.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences focused on core management skills, including coaching, feedback, performance management, communication, delegation, and talent development.
  • Develop broader learning pathways for Business Services and Paralegal populations, covering professional effectiveness, collaboration, client service, commercial awareness, and career development.

  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders and subject matter experts to ensure learning solutions address evolving business needs and support organizational goals.
  • Source and manage external learning providers, facilitators, and content partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for investment.
  • Measure learning effectiveness and use participant feedback, stakeholder input, and business outcomes to evaluate impact and refine programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the People Team to align learning initiatives with broader talent, performance, and career development strategies.
  • Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence manager, leader, and professional audiences.
  • Strong learning design and curriculum development capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to partner effectively with senior leaders.
  • Strong consulting and needs-analysis skills, with the ability to diagnose capability gaps and recommend appropriate development solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercially minded and results-oriented, with the ability to align learning initiatives to business objectives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Proactive, innovative, and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative and client-service focused.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, complex, and evolving HR environment.
  • Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Experience & Knowledge
  • 5–8 years of experience in learning and development, leadership development, talent development, or a related field, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing management and leadership development programs.
  • Experience building learning curricula, development pathways, or capability frameworks from concept through implementation.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and develop practical learning solutions.
  • Experience managing teams and developing employees, allowing for practical insight into the challenges of leadership, performance management, coaching, and employee engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning measurement methodologies.
