Overview
As the Talent Development Communications Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the success of Lutron University (LU). Based in Center Valley, PA, you will be responsible for designing and executing a strategic communication plan that enhances employee learning experiences, elevates LU's visibility, and aligns with Lutron's corporate messaging and brand identity.
You will create multi-channel communications, produce engaging multimedia content, and develop digital campaigns that ensure LU's learning solutions are effectively delivered and promoted across the organization. Your work will help shape and strengthen Lutron's culture of continuous development.

Responsibilities
Communications Strategy & Content Development
  • Develop and implement a global communication strategy that aligns with Lutron's brand.
  • Create and manage multi-format content (emails, newsletters, videos, infographics) to promote LU initiatives.
  • Ensure LU communications reflect a consistent learning philosophy and cultural alignment.
  • Maintain LU's digital presence with timely, engaging, and brand-compliant content.
  • Adapt messaging for global audiences with regional and cultural sensitivity

Multimedia Production & Branding
  • Design and deliver multimedia learning materials (video, audio, graphics).
  • Apply LU branding consistently across all channels and materials.
  • Collaborate with vendors and corporate communications to ensure brand integrity

Knowledge Management & Digital Asset Oversight
  • Organize and maintain LU's digital repositories and knowledge bases.
  • Keep learning-related communications current and archived appropriately.
  • Support production and distribution of LU podcasts and digital formats.

Learning Experience Facilitation
  • Lead New Employee Orientation sessions for a welcoming onboarding experience.
  • Emcee and support live learning events to ensure smooth execution and participant engagement.
  • Provide on-demand support for training sessions and learning solutions.

Evaluation & Reporting
  • Coordinate evaluation processes for LU learning programs.
  • Analyze and report learning outcomes behavioral impact to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned OR 10+ years of professional experience post academics
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, content creation, learning & development, broadcasting, or multimedia production.
  • Proven writing, editing, and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Creative skills to produce content targeted to specific learning audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools (e.g., SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, podcasting software).
  • Proven organizational and project management skills.
  • Confident presenter with experience delivering to a variety of audiences, including executives.
  • Experience with knowledge management systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of internal communications in the context of change initiatives is a plus.
  • Global experience or cultural fluency is a plus.
