As a personal trainer, your day is dynamic, combining training sessions, member engagement, program design, and professional development. A Day in the Life of a Gold's Gym Personal Trainer:
1. Training & Coaching
  • Work one-on-one with clients to develop customized fitness programs that align with their goals.
  • Lead small group and team training sessions to help members train in a motivating group setting.
  • Offer education on proper exercise technique, nutrition basics, and accountability strategies.

2. Engaging with Members
  • Actively connect with members on the gym floor, at the front desk, or via social media to build relationships and gain new clients.
  • Be a resource for gym members by offering fitness tips, spotting, and answering questions.
  • Assist with community-building efforts, such as social media engagement and gym events.

3. Growing Your Client Base
  • Utilize your floor time to prospect, connect, and offer complimentary assessments.
  • Follow up with potential clients and guide them through the process of starting personal training.
  • Work alongside management to create a sustainable client schedule and meet personal income goals.

4. Professional Development & Teamwork
  • Attend weekly PT meetings to collaborate, share strategies, and stay updated.
  • Take part in mentorship, sales training, and continuing education to sharpen your skills.
  • Maintain certifications and stay informed about fitness trends and best practices.

5. Facility Responsibilities
  • Keep the gym clean and organized by assisting with equipment upkeep.
  • Assist in program design and tracking client progress.
  • Follow Gold's Gym protocols for safety, member service, and professionalism.

What We're Looking For:
  • Certified Personal Trainer (Must have a nationally recognized certification & AED/CPR)
  • Outgoing & Self-Motivated (We want trainers who are comfortable talking to people and selling their services)
  • Passionate About Fitness & Helping Others
  • Team-Oriented with an Independent Drive (You'll have support, but success comes from your effort)
  • Sales Experience Preferred, But Not Required
  • Open to Newly Certified Trainers (We provide mentorship & development!)

Compensation & Growth Potential
  • Base hourly rate + additional pay per session based on session type
