Job description

Senior Learning & Development Leader – Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL, or Denver, CO (Hybrid)Role Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Learning & Development is a strategic individual contributor responsible for driving enterprise learning and talent development initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, enhance leadership effectiveness, and support business objectives.

This role partners closely with business leaders and HR to identify development needs, design impactful learning solutions, and advance the organization's learning strategy through innovative programs and best practices.

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to HR and business leaders on learning and talent development priorities.
  • Help define and execute the enterprise Learning & Development strategy and annual learning plan.
  • Conduct needs assessments and capability gap analyses to identify appropriate development solutions.
  • Consult with business leaders to design and implement impactful learning interventions aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Establish and maintain standards and best practices for instructional design, facilitation, and program quality.
  • Design, develop, and facilitate leadership and professional development programs.
  • Mentor and coach Learning & Development team members and provide guidance on program design and delivery.
  • Research learning trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to enhance learning experiences and development outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with external learning vendors and partners, as applicable.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on business results and learner feedback.
  • Partner with Talent Management teams on initiatives such as succession planning, talent reviews, leadership assessment, and career development.
Role RequirementsBasic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of expertise in Learning & Development, leadership development, and adult learning principles.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and facilitating leadership and professional development programs.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated ability to assess business needs and translate them into scalable learning solutions.
  • 10+ years of strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • *Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
  • *Applicants must be based in Atlanta, Miami, or Denver or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Miami, or Denver to work from the Atlanta, Miami, or Denver office a minimum of three days a week. Western Union will not assist with relocation costs for this position.

Salary

The base salary range is $125,000 - 150,000 USD per year.

Total on-target compensation includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
