POSITION SUMMARY 
The Learning and Development Manager serves as a strategic technical partner within the Quality department, responsible for the evolution of the company's digital learning ecosystem. This role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of technical training from the architectural development of the Learning Management System to the creation of high-impact, interactive instructional content.
A key priority for this position is the modernization of hundreds of Standard Work Instructions, transitioning them from static documents into engaging, multi-media learning modules that reduce human error and improve accuracy and employee retention. The Specialist acts as a regional consultant for site leadership, providing the technical training, data insights, and system support necessary to sustain rapid organizational growth while maintaining strict audit and compliance standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
   Content Transformation: Contribute to the development of interactive content, training videos, and gamification modules to move from "read-only" instructions to engaging learning experiences.
   LMS Administration: Manage daily system maintenance, troubleshoot directly with users, and implement the technical roadmap for LMS phase development.
   Site Support & Training: Serve as a technical point of contact for sites, training site leadership on LMS management, and communicating on available metrics.
   Document Alignment: Coordinate with the Quality team and Document Control to manage updates, edits, and sustainability requirements for hundreds of work instructions.
   Compliance & Auditing: Conduct audits of training records and system data to ensure compliance with regional standards.
   Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training gaps and the creation of additional content as needed.
   Other duties as deemed necessary by manager

EDUCATION
Minimum B.S.  Instructional Design, Computer Science, Education, or Quality Systems.


SKILLS & ABILITIES 

   Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of LMS architecture, video creation and editing, and Google Workspace tools. Previous experience using Gemini or Notebook LM to assist in rapid content development.
   Language Skills: Excellent communicator who understands how to explain difficult concepts in an understandable way. Excellent grammar and writing abilities.
   Soft Skills: Ability to communicate with varying audiences, from executive leadership to site-level associates.
   Project Management: Must be able to orchestrate multiple content projects simultaneously and prioritize based on rapid site growth.
   Specialized Knowledge: Understanding of document control, high-tech environments, and rapid deployment of content.
