Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development and launch of complex electric motors and related products. This individual contributor role requires a high energy individual who is both a broad thinker and skilled executor with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, drive alignment across departments, and ensure successful delivery of new products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end execution of NPI programs from concept through launch.
  • Re-engage at product End Of Life to lead that transition.
  • Execute the Infinitum LifeCycle process (ILC) including detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver new products on time, within scope and on budget.
Project Execution
  • Establish project baselines (cost, scope, schedule) in concert with the cross functional team (Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, etc).
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact program success.
  • Hold all team members, including executive staff, accountable for deliverables and decisions.
  • Ensure any deviation from the ILC process (i.e. deliverables that are not complete on time) has a documented waiver.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program execution and product development processes.
  • Run a weekly Project Team meeting to keep team members informed, aligned and on track.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the central point of contact for program status, risks, and decisions.
  • Provide regular updates/reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all involved teams.
Process & Governance
  • Apply best practices in program management and product lifecycle management.
  • Support the development and refinement of NPI processes and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations as applicable.
Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, product development, or related roles.
  • Proven experience managing electro-mechanical product development programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross functional teams.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Expertise in product lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., telecom equipment, utilities, automotive, aerospace).
  • Familiarity with ERP, MRP, PLM and similar business systems (NetSuite, Arena, Plex)
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical thinking capabilities.
