Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of new product development initiatives within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role will drive execution across engineering, product, operations, and marketing teams to bring innovative, life-safety products from concept through launch and post-release optimization.

The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of technical understanding, program execution, and stakeholder management, with a proven ability to lead complex product development programs involving hardware and software components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs across product development lifecycle (concept → launch → sustainment)
  • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives and product enhancement programs
  • Manage program scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning
  • Implement hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies to optimize delivery
  • Partner with engineering, product, QA, operations, and marketing teams
  • Utilize tools like Jira, MS Project, and dashboards for program visibility
  • Communicate program status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solution-oriented team environment
  • Ensure alignment with customer needs and product usability


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred)
  • 6+ years of Program/Project Management experience in product development
  • Experience managing complex programs involving hardware + software integration
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and phase-gate methodologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP, Agile, or similar certification preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
