Your role:
The Program Manager provides business and execution leadership for one or more projects, with responsibility for schedule, budget, and risk management. This role partners with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear communication, timely execution, and successful delivery.
What you'll be doing:
  • Accountable for core team performance, program schedule and execution, external project cost tracking, and program status reporting.
  • Leads team in defining program strategies, developing goals, and orchestrating team appraisal process.
  • Provides clear direction on product lifecycle management requirements to meet expectations of external customers and business stakeholders.
  • Interacts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensures identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies.
  • Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes.
  • Maximizes business results through continuous improvement in organization's ability to execute programs from identification through implementation.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required (in an engineering field preferred). MS/MBA degree preferred.
  • PMI / PMP Certification (or equivalent) desired.
  • 10+ years of product life-cycle experience
  • 5+ years project management experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site projects.
  • Experience with Medical Device Product Lifecycle (ISO 13485 and FDA QS Regulation 21 CFR Part 820) highly desired.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Role model of Vantive's Vital Behaviors
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in all aspects of program/project management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using a wide variety of skills and vehicles, across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment including external partners.
  • Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, and be capable of leading a team through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Extensive experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Planner)
  • Ability to analyze complex data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time

The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 to $160,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
