Frontline Road Safety Group is the undisputed North American pavement marking leader. Our company proudly provides customers with unparalleled customer service and innovative technology to ensure timely, best in class, and value-added results.

In our time of growth, we are seeking dedicated and talented individuals in business development roles to represent our unique technologies. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our Skidabrader and Surface Preparation Technologies divisions. This role is territory-based, will cover multiple states, and may offer flexibility in work location based on experience, living location, and our FRSG footprint.

We are seeking to base this role within our extensive network of 70+ locations. Expected travel will average 6–8 nights per month.

At Skidabrader, a recently acquired company with 30 years of experience, we utilize our world-class, proprietary pavement texturing equipment to improve the safety and skid resistance of North America’s highways, bridges, and airport runways. We are also the leading technology in the world to remove ghost striping scaring from alternative technologies to provide clear visual aspects for automation assisted vehicles.

At Surface Preparation Technologies, also recently acquired with 40 years of industry experience, we offer advanced rumble strip technology to improve road safety and reduce lane departures.

Both technologies help reduce crashes and injuries, first-responder costs, and traffic disruptions for drivers.

This is a Frontline Road Safety Group corporate position representing our best in class technologies while partnering across our 70+ locations and a $1.2B (and growing) operating company.

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a pipeline of opportunities to support growth within your assigned territory as you represent FLRG’s unique offerings.

  • Position Skidabrader and Surface Preparation Technologies within Frontline Road Safety as strategic solution providers, highlighting safety, best in class offerings, and capabilities.
  • Perform market research to identify business opportunities, developing relationships with construction companies, transportation authorities, and state/local agencies.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and attend industry events.
  • Manage customer relationships and accounts while traveling an average of 6–8 nights per month.
  • Provide product training presentations for customers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related industry experience.
  • 3+ years of business development, sales, project management, or estimating experience in roadway construction preferred.
  • Results-driven, self-starter mindset with a high sense of urgency.
  • Experience with asphalt and concrete operations and/or substrate work (e.g., paving, placement, surface preparation).
  • Experience related to striping, grinding/grooving, milling, rumble strips, or similar roadway/bridge surface preparation technologies preferred.
  • Ability to review plans is a plus.
  • Background working with DOTs, general contractors, and public agency stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with highway and bridge construction, maintenance, and related equipment is a plus.

Compensation and Growth:

  • Base salary is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location (targeting up to $125,000+ base).
  • Performance-based incentive compensation (details to be discussed during the process).
  • Opportunities for advancement within FRSG for high-performing individuals.

What We Offer:

  • 401(k) with matching contribution.
  • Paid sick time, vacation, and holidays.
