Overview

Genesee Lake School, a MyPath company,is a nationally recognized employee-owned provider of educational, vocational, and therapeutic residential services.These programs support adolescents, teenagers and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, and complex trauma. To succeed in this role, you must show an understanding of the emotional and developmental disabilities of the people you serve. When you join our team, you will be enrolled in our training program designed to build the skills and confidence needed to meet your job requirements and build your career with us.

As anAssistant Program Supervisor, you will assist the Program Supervisor to:

  • Ensure appropriate supervision of students.
  • Maintain the required ratio for coverage.
  • Fill open shifts as needed.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Train new staff
  • Communicate information.
  • Work coverage shifts, providing direct support and behavior management to our students.
  • Complete other tasks and projects related to the daily operation of the program.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills working with children and/or adolescents having developmental and behavioral disabilities with associated emotional, neurological, and intellectual disorders. A minimum ofone yearof experience.
  • Supervisory experience or training is a plus.
  • A valid Wisconsin driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Schedule & Benefit Information

  • This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position that requires availability to workboth1st and 2nd shift, as well as alternating weekends, double shifts, and a holiday rotation.
