Job description

Description
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for building role-based training curriculums, managing L&D workflows, and developing high-quality content. This is both a strategic and hands-on role designed to drive learning initiatives for both employees and customers. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can adapt to a high-growth environment and translate complex business needs into engaging learning experiences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Curriculum & Inventory Management
  • Strategic Planning: Plan, prioritize, and manage the full inventory of internal and external training courses.
  • Prioritization: Collaborate with HR, Product, Delivery, and Customer Support to align content creation with business objectives and audience needs.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain the Learning Inventory as content is prioritized, planned, and launched.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and optimize content based on data-driven insights.

Instructional Design & Development
  • Content Creation: Design and maintain training courses, certificate programs, and learning resources in accordance with best practices (e.g., ADDIE model).
  • SME Collaboration: Partner with subject-matter experts to identify training needs and translate technical knowledge into digestible learning modules.
  • Blended Learning: Support the delivery of diverse training formats, including Instructor-Led (ILT), Virtual (VILT), and Train-the-Trainer programs.

Project & Systems Management
  • Project Oversight: Build and execute project plans to ensure L&D objectives are delivered on schedule and within specification.
  • Systems Administration: Oversee and manage learning tools, specifically the eLeap and EasyLlama LMS platforms and associated authoring tools.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience in learning strategy, instructional design, and project management in a corporate environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Cross-Functional Expertise: Demonstrated ability to translate organizational objectives into training for a diverse, cross-functional audience.

Education and/or Certification Requirements
The candidate must possess a college degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business or have equivalent experience.
