Job Title: Talent Development Coordinator

Position Overview

The Talent Development Coordinator supports the learning and development efforts of West Cancer Center by managing logistics, coordinating onboarding processes, maintaining training systems, and contributing to program design and project execution. This role is instrumental in helping build a learning culture that supports both individual and organizational growth. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for learning and development programs, events, and instructor-led trainings (ILT)
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) tickets and assist with issue resolution
  • Track and monitor training compliance and completion for regulatory and internal requirements
  • Schedule training sessions, workshops, and certifications
  • Assist in creating and maintaining training materials and content
  • Oversee onboarding tracking for new employees and student onboarding for internships/externships
  • Maintain training records in LMS and compile reports on training participation and progress
  • Manage training calendars and registration for upcoming courses and workshops
  • Assist with budget administration for educational programs
  • Partner with Human Resources on broader organizational initiatives and learning strategies
  • Maintain training resources and communication on the intranet
  • Perform other duties as needed to support Talent Development initiatives

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Two-year college degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR, or a similar role
  • Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Absorb, Cornerstone)
  • Knowledge of SCORM standards and e-learning best practices
  • Familiarity with training administration and compliance tracking
  • Basic experience in instructional design
  • Bilingual skills a plus

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in LMS administration, troubleshooting, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of training and development principles and project management
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
