About the Role:
STEAM ON LEARNING CENTER LLC in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a passionate and dedicated VPK Teacher to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners by delivering high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) curriculum aligned with state standards
  • Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress and school readiness skills
  • Incorporate STEAM-based learning activities into daily lessons
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development
  • Maintain accurate attendance, documentation, and compliance records
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support whole-child development
Requirements:
  • Florida VPK Teacher Certification or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Prior experience teaching preschool or VPK-age children (ages 4–5)
