Entry Level Position
Hours: Monday through Friday: All shifts are available (Morning, afternoon & evening)
Job Summary:
As a Childcare Lead Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to support the Lead Teacher, assists in the operations of an assigned classroom to ensure Celebree mission, vision and values are upheld, and children are provided with a developmentally age-appropriate learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support classroom management while ensuring compliance with regulations, company standards, and policies
  • Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors
  • Assist in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational parent board
  • Recognizes classroom or school issues and collaborates with the Lead Teacher and Director to resolve them
  • Maintains effective communication with parents by greeting them personally, promptly addressing concerns, offering positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their childs development and classroom activities
  • Assist and supervise children during all activities, providing guidance using positive discipline methods, including Conscious Discipline
  • Support the implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans in a safe, nurturing environment following the Celebree School curriculum
Qualifications:
  • Requires basic knowledge of childrens behavioral and developmental stages, introductory understanding of state licensing regulations, and the ability to assist in classroom management. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with patience and flexibility, are essential."

Physical Demands:
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The job requires frequent bending, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
Specific Skills:
Certification in CPR & First Aid. Ability and flexibility in working with various age groups.
