Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Autism Aid II with the Giant Steps Preschool Program in Utah County. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
    AND 
  • Two (2) years of relevant college coursework (Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field)
  • One (1) year of experience as an Autism Aide I
    OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with young children
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and adapt to changing needs
  • Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Spanish-speaking applicants may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check.
