Human Capital Coordinator/Learning & Talent Development

Position Overview

The Human Capital team comprises about 25 professionals committed to attracting, developing, and retaining excellent colleagues across the firm. The Global Talent Management and Development team is central to CRA's success by creating an employee-centered work experience. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the employee life cycle particularly as it relates to onboarding, learning and development programs, performance management, as well as any employment transition activity. This position could be located in New York, Washington, DC (preferred), Boston or Chicago, and will report to a Human Capital Manager. Typical responsibilities of the Human Capital Coordinator include:

  • Assist with onboarding and integration efforts of new hires globally, with a particular focus on campus/early career and intern hires
    • Operate as point-person for all incoming hires,
    • Troubleshoot schedule conflicts, collaborate across corporate departments globally,
    • Maintain content on the intranet site and onboarding platform;
  • Support Learning and Professional Development activities
    • Coordinate global training program logistics (both virtual and live), including invitations and pre-work distribution, recording and editing programs, compiling attendance reports and distributing feedback surveys,
    • Oversee the tuition support program, including approving and tracking reimbursements;
  • Handle day-to-day employee administrative transactions
    • Process changes in working hours,
    • Ensure employee documentation is properly recorded and maintained;
  • Administer Human Capital systems
    • Update records in our HRIS platform (Workday),
    • Maintain enrolment, attendance and learning options in our Learning Management System;
  • Support performance management activities
    • Schedule and attend Annual Review meetings and capture notes/follow-ups,
    • Update HRIS systems and track review outcomes and follow-ups;
  • Support special projects across the Talent team (employee engagement survey, process/system automation initiatives, etc.).
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline, with strong academic performance;
  • Up to 3 years related work experience in a complex, fast paced and high-volume business (professional services preferred);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), communication software (Zoom), advanced knowledge of Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) desirable;
  • Experience with employee management systems (Workday preferred) and other HR technologies (LinkedIn Learning, Enboarder preferred);
  • Curious and analytic thinker with a problem-solving mindset who finds the right resources to solve the issue;
  • Effective written and oral communication skills;
  • Demonstrated high level ownership and detail orientation;
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization;

  • Flexibility to work across North American and European time zones, potential evening and weekend work, and occasional overnight/international travel.

Work Location Flexibility

Salary and other compensation

A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position in the US is $60,000 – $70,000. Starting pay within this range may vary based on factors such as education level, experience, skills, geographic location, market conditions, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for overtime pay in lieu of bonus incentive compensation.
