Company Description

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learning & Development

Provide administrative support to the NJY L&D team in the planning and execution of locally run training programs, including NJ hosted Core Skills and Entry Level Skills Training, CEPs, ECMs, Toastmasters and PL discussion series, among others:

o Book local rooms, specify and organize IT requirements

o Order food and confirm proper set-up on the day

o Team with Office Services to get finalized decks printed and organized

o Assist NJY L&D Lead in printing participant materials for Entry Level Skills Trainings (e.g., print materials for and collate binders)

o Manage travel arrangements for participants, and collaborate with NJY L&D Lead on communication to participants

Support the calendaring, logistics, coordination and feedback for external vendor training programs

Provide light administrative and calendar support to the L&D Lead

Create surveys to collect participant feedback post trainings, in partnership with the L&D Lead

o Update team on survey progress, pull and format data

Log all participation in local, regional and WW training and coaching activities for the NJY consulting team in Training Online database

In collaboration with L&D Lead, monitor / collect attendance records and flag cases requiring follow-up (e.g., 'no shows') with L&D Lead

Assist NJY L&D Lead and Partner plan and calendar local training curriculum throughout the year

In coordination with Regional and WW training teams, register NJY consulting staff for appropriate Regional and WW trainings in Training Online

o Act as liaison between Regional and WW training teams and local consulting staff to manage registration changes and communicate training details to local staff as directed by Regional and WW training teams

Participate and contribute to the AMR L&D Coordinator community

o Attend and contribute to regular L&D Coordinator calls

o Attend annual L&D Regional offsite

Attend and contribute to team calls and meetings with NYM Training team and NJY L&D Partner

Perform additional administrative duties or special projects at discretion of L&D Lead

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required

1-2 years business experience in a corporate environment, preferably at a professional services firm similar to consulting company

Strong interest in Training and Development a plus

Computer proficiency in Windows, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Overtime may be required

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines

Ability to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a challenging, fast- paced environment

Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through is a must; performs tasks with high degree of accuracy and efficiency

Must perform well under pressure, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks at the same time with strong attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships with staff while demonstrating a positive, personal and professional image

Flexible team player; solid customer service orientation and qualities

Ability to handle personnel matters with extreme poise, tact and to maintain confidentiality at all times and exhibit good judgment

Ability to work independently, to take initiative and to overcome obstacles

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service- oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with values and culture

Experience working successfully within a complex matrix and structured organization is essential

It is necessary to have the ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate and cultures
