Job description

The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for the effective and reliable delivery of unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents in their respected modality. Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Education
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program Required

  • Bachelors Degree Bachelors degree Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography Required

  • Previous educator experience Preferred

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or

  • ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or

  • NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required

  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
