What You'll Do
  • Building stronger team alignment while fostering a culture of shared accountability and assistance
  • A collaborative partner capable of building cross-functional relationships to drive change and influence business decisions
  • Conduct investigations and formulate responses to government, legal or internally reported employee relations charges
  • Ensure legal compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws to minimize risk/exposure to the company
  • Foster positive employee relations in order to attract, develop and retain high performance teams-focused on employee engagement, leadership development, performance alignment to CMC objectives, and change management for accountability.
  • Ensure all recruiting activity and documentation is managed in CMC's applicant tracking system and in accordance with affirmative action policies
  • Oversee recruiting process to ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with EEO, FCC and Affirmative Action
  • Oversee annual benefits open enrollment
  • Partner with Leave of Absence team to ensure compliance with ADA and FMLA; communicate with employees regarding leaves of absence
  • Help with administrative and people-focused responsibilities including learning CMC's HR management policies, participating in hiring and onboarding conversations, supporting coaching discussions, and reinforcing expectations
  • Provide leaders with individual and team coaching to improve teamwork and personal effectiveness
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and work effectively among a diverse group of people
What You'll Need
  • Knowledge of Human Resources field, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, and compensation required
  • Ability to work a schedule outside of normal business hours as needed to support a 24/7 operation
  • Ability to travel
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Generalist role
Your Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
