Inside Sales Representative

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing global customer base. This position requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Lead follow up for transactional sales and data input for processing
  • Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXLs value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
  • Ensure the timely processing of leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
  • Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
What Were Looking For
  • BA/BS degree
  • Some customer service, inside sales or education experience, preferably within the ed-tech or software industry
  • A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
  • Understanding of web applications
  • Ability to accommodate various global time zones is a plus
