4 days a week in office - Montreal or Toronto office

Shape how a national law firm learns.

Join the Learning & Development team and act as a trusted advisor on digital learning-from discovery to delivery. Designing and developing learning content such as workshops, eLearning programs, and presentations, while partnering closely with internal subject matter experts to deliver effective learning solutions.

You will be focusing on:

  • Design a strategic approach to onboarding, and the integration of partners, associates, and business services new hires.

  • Partner and collaborate with teams and leaders across the People & Development team and the firm to determine operational needs for continuous education sessions and internal meetings for optimal learning experiences

  • Assist with development projects and new technologies as required

  • Work with internal teams to manage video asset development for digital learning and L&D use cases such as program recordings, presentations and videos.

  • Review existing content to ensure courses are relevant and up-to-date

  • Develop and execute internal learning programs, that ensure employees are set-up for success.

  • Ensure that all relevant L&D systems and processes are updated on a continuous basis so that all our records are accurate and current for reporting purposes

  • Carry out regular audit checks of material that has been deployed through the LMS

  • Report on engagement and usage of online courses and provide stakeholder updates on metrics

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in learning and development, content creation and eLearning design in a professional setting with preference to experience in a legal environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to be effective in both a group and one-on-one setting

  • Proficency in Microsoft Office Suite; LMS or integration software, Multimedia editing software experience

  • Ability to work with appropriate software to package digital learning content (for e.g., Articulate/Storyline 360 etc.)

  • Experience in engaging with key stakeholders and deal with people at all levels within the organization

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills will be required to support a busy team at different levels of seniority

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages (French/English)

The salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of experiences and skills, and final compensation will be thoughtfully determined based on individual qualifications and current market factors. Please note that salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview.
