Job Description We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead web/mobile application development and front/back-end processing projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery, application development lifecycles, vendor management, and financial services and a proven ability to deliver complex initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and drive scope, schedule, budget, and risk outcomes. What is your level of experience with Waterfall and Scrum practices? What is the largest project team you have managed? Responsibilities: Lead one or more web/mobile application development and front/back-end processing projects, including third-party and virtual teams. Orient teams to the Standard Project Lifecycle Framework and roles to coordinate effective delivery. Develop and maintain partnerships with senior functional managers to prioritize projects and align to business objectives. Support business case development, project registration, consolidation, prioritization, and funding plans; administer pipeline checkpoints. Define and manage scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value propositions across multiple stakeholders. Develop integrated project plans, manage dependencies and critical paths, and report milestones and status. Estimate and secure resources, track utilization, manage staffing and vendor on/off-boarding, and monitor vendor performance. Draft and manage budgets, perform cost forecasting and actuals tracking, and report variances. Identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve issues and risks; manage dependencies and escalate with corrective actions. Tailor methods and metrics; administer configuration management and version control; ensure standards compliance; conduct assessments and manage reviews and sign-offs. Lead communication planning and execution with teams and stakeholders; prepare clear status and executive updates. Support change management planning, communications, training, and adoption activities. Manage documentation, knowledge transfer to business-as-usual functions, and conduct lessons-learned reviews. Oversee execution of vendor contracts and ensure adherence to contractual provisions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. PMI certification. Minimum 5 years of increasingly complex project management experience. Knowledge of financial services industry preferred. Proficiency with standard project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycles. Familiarity with Jira, Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall practices. Understanding of application development practices and cloud, network, and security infrastructure components. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, conflict management, and the ability to connect the dots across workstreams. Ability to assess and coach team members; share knowledge and develop others. Ability to plan and execute on multiple levels; organized and self-disciplined leader driving strategy execution.
