Calvary provides a Christ-centered education from Infant-12th grade, focusing on the whole child-spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Inspired by Luke 2:52, we aim to help children grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and others.
The Calvary Early Learning Center partners with Calvary Day School to prepare children for success through learning and play. We are seeking caring teachers for our 2- and 3-year-old classes who are passionate about teaching in a Christian environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, loving care for infants, ensuring safety, comfort, and growth.
• Create/Maintain a warm, clean, and engaging classroom environment, common-use and playground area.
• Support infants' physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Communicate positively with families and coworkers.
• Follow all school, state, and licensing health and safety regulations.
• Implement daily routines and age-appropriate curriculum activities.
• Attend meetings, training, and school functions.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications & Expectations
• High school diploma, CDA, TCC, or degree in Early Childhood Education
• Meet Georgia state background check requirements
• Infant teaching/care experience preferred
• Knowledge of infant development and early learning needs
• Strong communication skills with active listening and follow-through
• Ability to remain calm, multitask, and manage stressful situations professionally
• Receptive to giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Sit on the floor and actively engage with infants
