Job description

This role is based out of our Atlanta Headquarters Office. Candidates must be based/willing to relocate to Atlanta.

Job Summary

The Director of NAPA Academy is responsible for building and scaling a high-impact, enterprise learning ecosystem that supports onboarding, compliance, functional training, and workforce development across all business units. This role leads a centralized Academy team and partners with embedded learning representatives within each function to ensure training is aligned, relevant and effective. The Director sets the strategy, infrastructure, and standards to deliver consistent, measurable learning experiences across a network of both Field and Headquarters teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a 3-year Academy roadmap that aligns with business priorities and workforce capability needs.
  • Establish learning standards, processes, and governance for consistency and quality.
  • Build and lead a centralized team of instructional designers, content developers and facilitators.
  • Manage a distributed trainer network across business units and regional zones throughout the US.
  • Oversee day to day operations of learning delivery, scheduling, logistics, and support.
  • Partner with embedded learning liaisons in each business unit to define, design, and deploy functional training tracks.
  • Ensure all programs are aligned to roles, competencies, and business outcomes.
  • Maintain content for core programs including onboarding, compliance, and job-specific training.
  • Administer and optimize learning platforms to support content access, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure integration with performance systems and talent data for personalized learning pathways.
  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor completion rates, learning effectiveness, and adoption.
  • Manage regional training zone strategy to deploy scalable,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, HR, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in building enterprise learning infrastructure for a dispersed, multi-location workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and field-based training delivery.
  • Experience leading cross-functional learning initiatives and governance bodies.
  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and program management skills.
  • Proficiency with LMS/LXP platforms, content authoring tools, and learning analytics.
