Job description

Position: Learning & Development Specialist

Compensation: $42 - $48 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Learning & Development Specialist to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a training professional who enjoys building structure from the ground up. In this role, you’ll help redesign a training program by consolidating existing materials, creating role-based learning paths, and turning scattered resources into a clear, scalable training experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Redesign marketer training programs into role-based learning paths
  • Review existing training materials and identify gaps
  • Consolidate processes, resources, and content into structured programs
  • Develop training materials and instructional content
  • Document workflows and turn processes into easy-to-follow training
  • Create screen-recorded training content using Camtasia or similar tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Support ad hoc training and process improvement projects

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong background in Learning & Development or instructional design
  • Experience building training programs from the ground up
  • Experience redesigning or improving existing training programs
  • Ability to organize complex information into clear learning paths
  • Experience translating processes and systems into training content
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
