The Learning Consulting team serves as Schwab's strategic learning brokers, partnering with business leaders to connect organizational priorities with effective learning solutions. Through learning needs analysis, stakeholder management, and consultative communications, the team identifies performance gaps, aligns learning strategies to business objectives, and recommends solutions that drive measurable results.

The Senior Manager, Learning Consulting supports learning solutions across client-facing and corporate functions. This role partners with leaders, HR stakeholders, and learning professionals to assess needs, shape learning strategy, and guide the execution of impactful solutions. The individual will bring strong business acumen, consultative communication, and relationship management skills to support enterprise-wide initiatives, including product launches, technology implementations, acquisitions, and other business transformations.

What you'll do:
  • Lead learning intake and discovery conversations to identify performance challenges, business priorities, and opportunities where learning can drive measurable outcomes.
  • Apply strategic thinking and prioritization frameworks to ensure Learning Solutions resources are focused on the highest-value initiatives aligned to enterprise and business goals.
  • Partner with senior leaders, HR partners, and learning stakeholders to recommend scalable learning strategies and solutions.
  • Apply consultative communication skills to guide stakeholders toward appropriate learning approaches that balance business requirements, learner needs, and organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with Learning Design and Learning Delivery teams to develop and implement learning solutions while enabling business-owned learning teams to execute effectively when appropriate.
  • Build stakeholder relationships across business units, HR functions, and learning teams to drive alignment, adoption, and successful execution.
  • Identify opportunities to create shared learning resources, standards, templates, frameworks, and reusable assets that improve consistency, quality, and speed across the enterprise.
  • Champion adoption of learning technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and automation tools that enhance learning effectiveness and organizational capability.Evaluate learning effectiveness using adoption metrics, learner feedback, business outcomes, and performance data to continuously improve learning strategies and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Schwab's federated learning model through data-driven insights and stakeholder partnership.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, learning consulting, organizational effectiveness, talent development, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct learning needs analysis and translate business challenges into practical solutions.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to align learning solutions to strategic priorities.
  • Ability to facilitate discovery conversations, challenge assumptions, and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Experience collaborating with learning design and delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of learning technologies including Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), and content creation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building partnerships across HR, business functions, and executive leadership teams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale business transformation initiatives, technology implementations, acquisitions, or enterprise change efforts.
  • Confidence presenting recommendations, insights, and learning strategies to leaders and executive audiences.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while managing complex stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
