Job description

Oncology Sales Representatives will disseminate clinical information about Lilly Oncology products and services to healthcare professionals (medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, reimbursement managers, pharmacists). Selling requires strong scientific knowledge and account-based selling skills.

Responsibilities
  • Territory Management: Understand territory and reimbursement landscape; use business insights to analyze and adapt to business needs.
  • Account Management: Navigate a changing healthcare environment; understand accounts and impact key stakeholders as a trusted partner.
  • Selling Skills/Customer Experience: Actively listen and adapt to verbal/non-verbal prompts.
  • Medical Integrity: Demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information/disease state, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; engage all members of an office/account.
  • Selling: Promote the full product portfolio through patient-centered dialogue; use the selling model to identify appropriate patients.
  • Sales Activity: Use available business analytics to meet customer needs and sales goals; follow internal policies and PhRMA code.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with field and internal peers for a coordinated customer experience.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional certification/license if required by a specific state.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Authorization to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship/support.
Additional Skills/Preferences
  • 3+ years sales experience (pharma or non-pharma) after undergraduate degree.
  • Account-based selling; experience engaging staff in accounts.
  • Strong learning agility; self-motivated, team-focused, emotionally intelligent.
  • Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
