  • Support maintenance/review of models under guidance; document assumptions/changes; standardize routines to reduce operational risk.
  • Support rating committees by preparing well‑evidenced materials and responding to follow‑up questions with transparency on sources and assumptions.
  • Translate data, analysis, and research into clear, decision‑ready narratives for clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Clarify technical information, bring new ideas forward and adapt messaging to the audience.
  • Apply confidentiality, documentation, and governance requirements consistently, ensuring human accountability for final analysis and committee content.
  • Support testing of automation/agentic AI tools identified through process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within a Structured Finance Ratings capacity or prior work experience working in residential mortgage credit at a bank or independent mortgage company.
  • Collaborative teammate who manages priorities and communicates clearly in a partnership‑driven environment.
  • Learning agility and continuous improvement mindset, comfortable adopting new tools while protecting quality and accountability.
  • Ability to support juniors through guidance, quality checks, and knowledge sharing including responsible AI practices.

  • Understanding of credit/risk concepts.
  • Practical AI fluency: uses GenAI/LLMs to augment analysis.
