Job description

Master Scheduler – Electronics Manufacturing
Location: Grayslake, IL (Local Candidates Only)
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)
Are you the missing link between high-level supply chain strategy and shop floor execution?
In the fast-paced world of electronics manufacturing, precision is everything. We are looking for a Plant Master Scheduler who can act as the "conductor of the orchestra"—translating demand signals into a seamless, optimized, and executable production symphony.
As a key connector, you won’t just manage a spreadsheet; you will balance capacity, cost, and inventory to ensure our customers get exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.

The Impact You Will Have:
  • Master the Schedule: Develop and publish the Master Production Schedule (MPS) at the SKU and family level.
  • Problem Solve in Real-Time: Identify bottlenecks and overloads, proposing agile solutions like re-sequencing or subcontracting to keep production flowing.
  • Optimize the Shop Floor: Sequence production orders to maximize throughput and minimize changeover downtime.
  • Drive Inventory Excellence: Maintain a perfect balance of Finished Goods and WIP inventory while protecting customer service levels.
  • Lead Cr oss-Functionally: Act as the single point of coordination for scheduling decisions, interfacing daily with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • Proven Track Record: At least 7 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing, with 3–5 years focused specifically on S&OP, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency in SAP (or similar MRP systems) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Lean Mindset: Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Leadership Presence: The ability to negotiate, lead teams, and stay calm under the pressure of a high-stakes production environment.
  • Communication Skills: Bilingual skills in Spanish are a major plus!

Why Join Us?
  • This is a critical role within a growing electronics plant where your decisions directly impact the bottom line and customer satisfaction. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values reliability, feedback, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Are you ready to optimize our production?
  • If you are a detail-oriented strategist with a passion for manufacturing excellence, we want to hear from you!Top of Form
