Job Description:
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator delivers data-driven solutions across multiple areas within the business. The CI Coordinator is responsible for supporting manufacturing, engineering, and quality strategies through analysis and presentation of data for all of operations. This position will interface with the entire operations team to support problem-solving on process efficiencies and work to bring resolution to these issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lean Mentality
  • Effectively applies problem solving and creative thinking to accomplish short term and long-term goals
  • Utilize lean tools depending on situation -- VSM, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, JIT, Kanban, Visual Management, Pull systems, DMAIC, PFMEA, Root cause, 8D, and 5-why analysis etc.
  • Perform analysis of current state & provide multiple what-if scenarios to find best solution to achieve future state. Understanding of financial impacts of these scenarios.
  • Partners with key stakeholders and effectively communicates up, down, and across the organization

Project Support, Project Management, & Data Analytics
  • Lead projects of small to medium complexity
  • Collect and interpret data from various work cells within manufacturing
  • Develop and maintain graphical analysis of data
  • Update and maintain dashboards and reports critical to operational success
  • Highlight trends, positive or negative, as indicated by the data to initiate corrective actions
  • Monitor production deviation from standard, investigate root cause, and make appropriate corrections
  • Drive execution of plant goals through communication of timely and effective data
  • Assist with process documentation, work instructions, standardizing templates, and document control
  • Takes accountability and possesses a sense of urgency

Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mind-set and natural problem solver
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office software
  • Preference given to candidate with Manufacturing OEE software experience
