Description:Development Director

Billings Leadership Foundation | Billings, MT | Full-Time | Exempt

Billings Leadership Foundation is seeking a passionate, relationship-driven Development Director to lead fundraising efforts for the Billings Leadership Foundation, Montana Rescue Mission, and Friendship House.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will develop and execute fundraising strategies that grow philanthropic support through major gifts, grants, annual giving, corporate partnerships, planned giving, and donor stewardship.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the organization's fundraising strategy.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and community partners.
  • Oversee grant strategy, annual campaigns, and donor stewardship.
  • Track fundraising performance and provide reports to leadership and the Board.
  • Lead and mentor the Development team.
  • Work closely with the CEO to advance the organization's mission and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising leadership.
  • Demonstrated success securing major gifts and grant funding.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with donor management software and fundraising analytics.
