About the Role:
At PitchBook we believe our people are what set us apart, and as a member of the People team your contributions will directly impact the success of our employees and the company. PitchBook is a values-driven company. Our team embodies these values in everything we do, and we take pride in setting a positive example for our colleagues at all levels.
The People team fosters a culture of collaboration, and we hold ourselves to a high bar to consistently deliver an exceptional employee experience. We create a positive environment where employees are supported and empowered to do their best work. We push ourselves to continuously learn while leveraging diverse skill sets and perspectives to create employee-centric programs that are as impactful as they are fun. If you are driven to do great work and are committed to doing your job with passion, you have found the right team!
The PitchBook Learning & Development team is a global team with teammates in Seattle, New York, and London that serves all of PitchBook's learning, leadership development, career development, and talent management needs in a way that grows individuals and the business. Our team is a focused, effective, and fun group of professionals with a passion for continuous learning, developing others, and making a positive impact on our organization. This role contributes significantly to leaders' development and supports the learning and development of all PitchBook employees.Â
The Sr. Program Manager, Leadership Development is a strategic, enterprise-focused role responsible for building the capabilities PitchBook leaders need to succeed today and adapt for the future. This includes owning, designing, delivering, and measuring leadership development programs and experiences that build consistent, high-impact leadership capability across all levels of leadership, from frontline managers to senior leader of leaders. This role also partners across the L&D team and organization on PitchBook's manager AI enablement strategy by building manager capability to apply AI effectively and drive skill development across their teams. It equips managers with the skills, confidence, and frameworks needed to translate AI priorities into meaningful adoption and capability-building within their functions.Â
This role partners closely with Learning & Development teammates, Talent Management, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to align leadership and capability-building priorities with PitchBook's strategy, workforce needs, and people priorities. The Sr. Program Manager applies their expertise in learning, leadership, and talent development to assess needs, propose and build solutions, and measure the effectiveness of L&D initiatives that help leaders grow, teams thrive, and the business perform.Â
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Own, design, and deliver PitchBook's leadership development programs and resources across all leader levels from new managers to senior leader of leaders including program strategy, curriculum design, facilitation, measurement and ongoing evolution to meet the changing needs of the businessÂ
- Partner and collaborate on PitchBook's Manager AI Enablement strategy and execution, building managers' AI skills and confidence for their own roles while equipping them with the tools, frameworks, and programs to drive AI skill-building, adoption, and effective use across their direct reports and teamsÂ
- Design and manage a portfolio of leadership development experiences including workshops, cohort-based programs, assessments, team development, leader coaching engagements, and peer learning forums that build consistent, high-impact leadership capability across the organizationÂ
- Leverage leadership and behavioral assessment tools (e.g., DiSC, Hogan, 360 assessments) to deepen self-awareness, inform development planning, and support targeted growth for leaders at all levelsÂ
- Partner with Employee Development, Talent Management and HR Business Partners to align leadership development with performance, skill-building initiatives, succession and talent priorities, and to ensure managers are equipped to manage performance, coach and lead teams through ongoing changeÂ
- Partner with business leaders and departments to align capability building with team priorities and ensure learning investments translate into measurable productivity and impactÂ
- Define and track success metrics across leadership development and Manager AI enablement initiatives, using data, feedback, and sentiment insights to continuously improve strategy and demonstrate impactÂ
- Stay current on trends in leadership development, learning, AI enablement, and other relevant best practicesÂ
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviorsÂ
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requestedÂ
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree requiredÂ
- 5+ years of professional experience managing programs in learning and leadership development, talent development, or other relevant program management experienceÂ
- Experience and certifications in leadership and behavioral assessment tools, including DiSC, Hogan assessments, 360 feedback instruments (CCL's Skillscope and LVI preferred), and coaching (e.g., ICF) preferredÂ
- Proven experience building and owning innovative, complex and effective leadership development and L&D programs, tools, and resources across multiple leader levelsÂ
- Demonstrated ability to successfully design, develop, and manage complex, enterprise-scale programs from strategy through executionÂ
- AI fluency (not technical expertise) that includes understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use, with the curiosity and adaptability to stay current on emerging tools and translate that learning into practical, scalable, and role-relevant enablement for managers and their teamsÂ
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and complete work with a high level of quality and attention to detailÂ
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skillsÂ
- Creative thinker and self-starter with a proactive approach to resolving problems and issuesÂ
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive program proposals and continuous improvementÂ
- Works well independently and as part of a teamÂ
- Eager to learn, grow, and build skills while working in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Duties require periodically working outside normal working hours (evenings, early mornings) to support a global employee populationÂ
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Working Conditions:
At the heart of our company is a belief in the power of in-person collaboration. Being together in the office fuels our creativity, strengthens our connections, and drives the innovation that sets us apart. Our culture is built on spontaneous moments-those hallway conversations, whiteboard brainstorms, and shared celebrations in each of our global offices-that simply can't be replicated remotely. This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
We are excited to get to know you and your background. Concerned that you might not meet every requirement? We encourage you to still apply as you might be the right candidate for the role or other roles at PitchBook.
