As a Lead Surgical Technologist, you’ll take on a vital leadership role in the OR, guiding your team and ensuring patients receive the safest, most advanced surgical care. Working alongside a highly experienced, collaborative surgical team, you’ll bring order, precision, and confidence to the operating room. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness for every procedure 
  • Scrubbing in and supporting surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, sterile environment 
  • Guiding and mentoring surgical technologists, serving as a role model while training new team members and reinforcing best practices 
  • Overseeing quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards
  • Driving teamwork and efficiency through effective communication, rapid problem-solving, and support for on-call and emergency cases 
What qualifications you will need:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Vocational Training Program in Surgical Technology
  • Currently certified as a Surgical Technologist preferred
  • BLS Certification required
  • 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
