About the Opportunity Puyana Plastic Surgery is seeking an exceptional Associate Plastic Surgeon to join our rapidly growing aesthetic surgery practice in Miami, Florida.

This is a rare opportunity to work alongside Dr. Salomon Puyana, an innovative plastic surgeon dedicated to delivering outstanding results through advanced surgical techniques, cutting-edge technology, and an exceptional patient experience. The selected candidate will join a modern, high-end practice with strong patient demand, a state-of-the-art surgical facility, and a highly experienced support team.

We are looking for a surgeon who is passionate about aesthetic surgery, committed to lifelong learning, and excited to build a thriving career in a practice focused on excellence, innovation, and growth.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a Board Eligible or Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with experience in aesthetic plastic surgery and a particular interest in body contouring procedures.

This position is best suited for a surgeon who enjoys aesthetic breast and body surgery and is comfortable treating patients seeking procedures such as liposuction, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reductions, implant exchanges, and revision procedures. While facial surgery experience is welcomed, the primary focus of this role is aesthetic body and breast surgery.

We are seeking someone who is confident yet humble, hardworking, coachable, and patient-focused. The right candidate must be personable, charismatic, and capable of building trust with patients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical care.

Innovation and Technology

Our practice is committed to remaining at the forefront of aesthetic surgery.

The ideal candidate should have experience with modern aesthetic technologies or be genuinely excited to learn and adopt them. This includes advanced body contouring and skin-tightening platforms such as AYON, Quantum RF, BodyTite Turbo, Morpheus8, and other emerging technologies that enhance surgical outcomes and expand treatment options for patients.

We are looking for a surgeon who believes that continuing education and innovation are essential parts of being an elite aesthetic surgeon.

Surgical and Non-Surgical Practice

Although the primary focus of this role is aesthetic surgery, the ideal candidate should also be willing to participate in the non-surgical side of aesthetic medicine.

This may include injectables, laser treatments, skin rejuvenation procedures, radiofrequency technologies, and other minimally invasive treatments. We believe the most successful aesthetic surgeons understand both surgical and non-surgical approaches to patient care and are comfortable offering comprehensive treatment plans.

Practice Environment

Puyana Plastic Surgery offers a truly exceptional working environment.

The selected candidate will practice in a world-class facility equipped with premium implants, advanced surgical technology, modern operating rooms, and best-in-class equipment and supplies. Our physicians are supported by a dedicated team of patient coordinators, nurses, medical assistants, anesthesia providers, and administrative professionals who are committed to creating an outstanding experience for both patients and providers.

This infrastructure allows our surgeons to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding results.

Professional Growth

This position offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from an established aesthetic surgeon while building your own experience, reputation, and career.

We are looking for someone who is eager to continue refining their surgical skills, expanding their knowledge, embracing new technologies, and remaining at the forefront of aesthetic plastic surgery. The ideal candidate is not interested in becoming comfortable—they are interested in becoming better every year.

Qualifications

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida.

Strong experience or interest in aesthetic surgery is required, particularly in aesthetic breast and body procedures. Excellent communication skills, sound surgical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to patient safety are essential.

Fluency in English is required. The ability to communicate in Spanish is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible Monday through Friday schedule.

Compensation is highly competitive and includes substantial earning potential through a productivity-based commission structure. The practice offers significant patient demand, strong growth opportunities, and the ability to build a highly successful aesthetic surgery career in one of the most desirable markets in the world.

Why Join Puyana Plastic Surgery?

If you are looking for an opportunity to perform meaningful aesthetic surgery, work with advanced technology, learn from an experienced surgeon, practice in a world-class facility, and join a team committed to excellence, we would love to hear from you.

This is more than a job. It is an opportunity to build an exceptional career in aesthetic plastic surgery in the heart of Miami.
