Job description

Position: Contract CT Surgical First Assistant (SFA)

Location: Arizona

Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday | 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM

Pay: $1,987 โ€“ $2,330 per week

Requirements:

Certified Surgical First Assistant (SFA)

Prior Cardiothoracic (CT) experience required

Experience with vein harvesting

Must be available for standby call from 3:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM

Required to take every 3rd weekend standby call

Dress Code:

Hospital-issued scrubs required

Outerwear must be a hospital-issued jacket or gown

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during cardiothoracic surgical procedures

Perform vein harvesting as needed

Maintain sterile field and adhere to surgical protocols

Support operating room team to ensure efficient procedures

Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies

Provide intraoperative assistance and anticipate surgeon needs

Ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
