Job description

A Lead Security Guard contributes to AHF by being responsible for protecting the company's assets and ensuring the safety of its staff, tenants, contractors, guests and visitors at AHF's sites, including Healthy Housing (HHF) properties. In this role, you will leverage your training in security and you will be in charge of implementing strategies that protect our personnel and assets (including inventory of donations) at our healthy Housing tenant facilities located in the downtown Los Angeles area and other AHF locations. You will have full responsibility for implementing policies and procedures designed to achieve this important mission while you are coordinating and overseeing the in-house Security Guards Team.
A Lead Security Guard enhances the reputation of AHF by being friendly, professional and disciplined in the performance of their duties, recognize potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner.

The Lead Security Guard will work as a part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain working relationships with the Healthy Housing operational staff to ensure a safe and secure environment. Finally, you will utilize the existing Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports regarding events and situation that occur while on duty. In this role you will have the opportunity to add consistent value to AHF/ HHF by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.
