Job description

Security Supervisor

Responsibilities Responsible for the overall operations of security and maintaining a secure environment for patients, visitors and all hospital personnel and medical staff. Assist in controlling any violent patients, visitors, or employees. Responsible for controlling visitors, patrolling parking lots, assuring that vehicles are correctly parked. Patrol area and report any problems. Serves as an active member of the fire brigade. Protect the Medical Center building, assets, and premises as assigned. Assigns daily posts, coordinates shift coverage, and guide security guards on duty. Instructs new hires on safety rules, equipment use and post orders.

Qualifications Experience: 5 years of experience in security supervision preferred. Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Non-commission Level 2 security officer required. Special Skills, Knowledge: Valid Class C Drivers License. Strong communication skills, basic computer literacy, and conflict de-escalation. Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
