We are seeking a dynamic Lead Maintenance Technician who loves to take care of our guests and is genuinely invested in the overall operation and success of the hotel. Core Responsibilities:
  • Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and review priorities and special projects.
  • Active management in the supervision of all work and repairs being performed.
  • Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments
  • Complete responsibility for maintaining the hotel's appearance, equipment and systems. This is a hands on position that requires active, vigorous leadership.
  • Focus on quality, service standards, and the company mission statement is of paramount importance.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance to guest rooms and public area work orders.
  • Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces according to hotel requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance. Three years experience in a hotel or commercial setting is required.
  • Journey person experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC trade.
  • Knowledge and experience in budgeting and expense control.
  • Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
