Job Description Summary
The Digital Analyst I supports MUSC's enterprise scheduling platform, QGenda, by ensuring accurate provider and clinic scheduling, maintaining data integrity, and delivering actionable insights to support operational and financial decision-making.
This role plays a key part in optimizing clinic utilization, improving scheduling workflows, and supporting a growing network of providers and facilities. Working closely with the Lead Digital Analyst, the Digital Analyst I combines operational support, analytics, and process improvement to enhance scheduling efficiency and user experience across the organization.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling Operations & System Maintenance
  • Maintain and update provider, clinic, and room schedules within QGenda to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational needs
  • Support onboarding of new users, including profile setup, permissions, and scheduling templates
  • Coordinate and communicate scheduling updates to stakeholders across departments
  • Assist in implementing scheduling rules, templates, and workflow enhancements

Data Integrity & Quality Assurance
  • Perform regular audits of scheduling data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify data discrepancies, workflow gaps, or system issues and escalate as needed
  • Maintain alignment between scheduling data and operational practices
  • Support ongoing data governance and standardization efforts

Reporting & Analytics
  • Generate and analyze standard and ad hoc reports related to scheduling, capacity, and utilization
  • Translate data into actionable insights to support operational and financial planning
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations for leadership review
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve clinic utilization and scheduling effectiveness
  • Lead meetings with various stakeholders and levels of leadership to explore and track opportunities leveraging QGenda reports

User Support & Training
  • Serve as the first point of contact for user questions, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Provide guidance to providers, schedulers, and administrators on QGenda best practices
  • Assist in developing and maintaining training materials and user documentation
  • Support training sessions and communication initiatives related to scheduling processes

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in analytics, operations, or systems support
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with provider scheduling, clinical operations, or healthcare systems
  • Experience with QGenda or similar scheduling platforms (e.g., Amion, Kronos, Shift Admin)
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
  • Experience working in a healthcare or academic medical center environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, or other data visualization tools
