Job Overview
As a Digital Solutions Analyst, you will be a part of the Komatsu team enabling enhanced digital experiences for our user communities. You will focus on the digital product portfolio, My Fleet, within the My Komatsu member network. In this role, you will enhance and streamline our digital tools that provide visibility into fleet performance, access to critical information to support the longevity and reliability of their equipment, and 24/7 parts support. Working within the My Komatsu member network, under the My Fleet portfolio, this role will have an opportunity ensure that users have optimized and streamlined experiences that allow them to manage their business efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in connecting the My Fleet telematics experience and the e-commerce parts and solutions experience, ensuring users have streamlined journeys to identify and purchase the right part or solution, based on their fleet.
You will develop a deep understanding of users' needs and translate those insights into clear business requirements, and partner with digital development teams to turn requirements into reality. Working closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and business stakeholders you will help define and execute the product vision and roadmap guided by user-centered design principles and adherence to business objectives. You will also support the full product lifecycle, from concept through design, build, and deployment, ensuring consistency with Komatsu's broader digital strategy. This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex requirements into intuitive, valuable digital experiences.
SCOPE
The Digital Solutions Analyst will be a member of Komatsu's Digital Office, working cross-functionally to enhance My Fleet functionality, driving integrations with other digital products and solutions. The role will interface with cross-functional, global teams, as well as participate in dealer and customer engagements. This role will have an opportunity to bring ideas to the team and leverage new and advancing technologies in the market. They will support the digital team in driving an increase in active users, user engagement, and parts and solution sales.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work with Digital Product Managers to define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for the My Fleet portfolio, ensuring alignment with Komatsu's digital objectives and product strategy framework. Develop and maintain roadmaps by prioritizing features, managing dependencies, and ensuring continuous improvement based on user feedback, business goals, and industry trends. Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and guide decision-making.
  • Identify cross-product integration opportunities, especially between My Fleet telematics and e-commerce parts and solutions to support seamless, end-to-end user journeys.
  • Develop a deep understanding of users, personas, and workflows through voice of customer, voice of distributor, and data analysis. Translate insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized features, while continuously incorporating feedback, business objectives, and industry trends to guide product enhancements and roadmap evolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and business stakeholders across all phases of the product lifecycle (design, build, test, and deploy). Partner with UX teams to deliver intuitive, user-centered experiences, and work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet defined requirements, quality standards, and integration needs across the broader digital ecosystem.
  • Lead testing and validation efforts by developing and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, engaging key user groups, and partnering with ICT teams to ensure release readiness. Validate solutions against requirements through usability testing, QA, and acceptance testing, ensuring high-quality, reliable product delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and platform vendors to inform product direction.
  • Understand the competitive situation and support plans to fix product gaps.
  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation, including technical content and self-service resources, to support user adoption. Provide advanced product support by troubleshooting complex user and application issues, assisting with user onboarding, and ensuring a high level of ongoing engagement with digital tools.
  • Analyze product performance and user behavior using enterprise data tools to generate actionable insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of the My Fleet experience. Use data to inform decision-making, optimize user journeys, and streamline business processes.
  • Coordinate with marketing, commercial, and support teams to prepare for product launches and releases, ensuring effective communication, successful rollout, and strong user adoption across customer and distributor networks.
  • Collaborate with global teams across time zones and travel to customer and distributor locations to support implementations, gather insights, and participate in industry events and user engagements.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, UX design, or a related field.
  • Experience in software design/development, product management, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify customers' true underlying business needs, recognize trends and anticipate future customer needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. You must have the ability to present intricate and complex details in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to pull, analyze and visualize data. Efficiently provide accurate, relevant, and timely information and analysis. Experience with Analytics platforms a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience working with or developing user stories that are concise, feasible, and have clear acceptance criteria and applying those stories to road mapping exercises.

Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $$68,200 - $85,300. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
