As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Enterprise Technology organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA.
Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software Engineers. Candidates should have experience with the following:
- Conversational AI, NLP, and Automation Engineering
Lead the design and development of NLP modules, conversational AI capabilities, and GenAI-powered automation using Python and Java to support core AI product initiatives.
Drive experimentation and refinement of language models, ensuring high-quality intent recognition, dialog flows, and scalable AI components.
- Technical Leadership & Core AI Platform Development
Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, guiding best practices in model development, coding standards, and solution architecture across core AI systems.
Oversee integration of AI services into enterprise platforms (including OCP), ensuring performance, reliability, and alignment with long-term product strategy.

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
