About the Role:
The Porch Restaurant & Bar in Sacramento, CA is looking for an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender / Server to join our team! This is your chance to take the reins behind the bar and on the floor, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you love crafting great drinks, leading by example, and making every guest feel welcome, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Craft and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and flair
  • Lead and support front-of-house staff, providing guidance and setting the standard for service excellence
  • Take food and beverage orders, deliver meals, and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area throughout each shift
  • Handle cash, credit, and POS transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and uphold responsible beverage service (RBS) standards
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory checks, and bar prep
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of bartending and/or serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting
  • Prior leadership or lead bartender experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
  • Valid California Food Handler Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification, or ability to obtain
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
