Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Safely operate crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar and other materials on a commercial / industrial concrete project
  • Daily inspection of the condition of the crane and complete safety checklists
  • Participate in the erection / dismantling / setup of the crane
  • Assist in the calculation of load weights and the generation of critical lift plans
  • Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes / tasks in the safest possible manner. Ensure that a safe, accident/incident- free work environment is maintained for all co-workers, customers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate other various types of heavy equipment when crane is down or not needed for a period of time

  • At least 3 years' experience in commercial/industrial projects crane operation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Capable of lifting 90 pounds repetitively
