POSITION SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Safely operate crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar and other materials on a commercial / industrial concrete project
- Daily inspection of the condition of the crane and complete safety checklists
- Participate in the erection / dismantling / setup of the crane
- Assist in the calculation of load weights and the generation of critical lift plans
- Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes / tasks in the safest possible manner. Ensure that a safe, accident/incident- free work environment is maintained for all co-workers, customers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times
- Operate other various types of heavy equipment when crane is down or not needed for a period of time
Position Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- At least 3 years' experience in commercial/industrial projects crane operation
- Capable of lifting 90 pounds repetitively
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- NCCCO Certified Crane Operator License.
