Based in Los Angeles, California, our firm primarily handles Plaintiff-side Lemon Law and Civil Litigation matters throughout California.


Role Description

Zand Law, APC is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for a hybrid position based in West Los Angeles. This role includes a combination of in-office work and remote/work-from-home flexibility.

The Associate Attorney will handle Plaintiff-side Lemon Law and Civil Litigation matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, managing discovery, attending hearings, negotiating settlements, preparing mediation briefs, communicating with clients, and assisting with litigation strategy.

The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a litigation caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of California civil litigation procedures
  • Plaintiff-side Lemon Law experience preferred
  • Prior civil litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation briefs
  • Ability to independently manage deadlines and case responsibilities
  • Strong communication and client-management skills
  • Interest or knowledge in automobiles/car industry is a strong plus, as the firm predominantly handles Lemon Law matters
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality
